Saffron Matcha Latte

Persian vibes in a cup — this golden-green drink is a luxurious fusion of earthy matcha, warming cinnamon, and delicate saffron. Sweet, floral, and full of nourishing magic. A latte like no other.


🌸 You’ll Need:

  • A few saffron strands
  • A splash of warm water
  • 2 g ceremonial matcha powder @matchaunion
  • 50 ml water (80°C / 175°F)
  • 2 pinches cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Milk of choice
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 tsp rose syrup for floral notes

✨ Method:

1️⃣ Bloom the saffron
Gently grind saffron strands in a mortar. Pour over a splash of warm water and let steep for a few minutes.

2️⃣ Whisk the matcha
Whisk matcha with hot water until frothy. Add cinnamon and honey, then whisk again until smooth.

3️⃣ Assemble the drink
In your glass:
🧊 Add ice cubes
🌼 Pour in the saffron water
🥛 Top with your milk of choice
🍵 Gently pour the whisked matcha on top

4️⃣ Optional twist
Add a splash of rose syrup for that full Persian-floral finish.
