Perfect as a midday pick-me-up, movie night treat, or edible gift that no one will forget.

Ingredients

  • ~200g Medjool dates (about 30, pitted)

  • 200g creamy peanut butter

  • Mini pretzels (enough to cover the bark)

  • 200g white chocolate

  • 1½ tsp premium matcha powder @Matcha Union

  • Roasted peanuts, chopped (to taste)

  • Flaky salt (for finishing)

Instructions

Step 1: Create the Date Base

Pit the dates and press them flat onto a parchment-lined tray or board, forming a compact, even layer. Use your hands or the bottom of a glass to press firmly.

Step 2: Spread the Peanut Butter

Generously spread peanut butter over the flattened dates, creating a thick, even coating.

Step 3: Add the Pretzels

Arrange mini pretzels on top of the peanut butter, gently pressing them in so they stick. Don’t be shy—load it up!

Step 4: Make the Matcha Chocolate Layer

Melt the white chocolate gently (microwave or double boiler), then stir in the premium matcha powder until fully combined and smooth.

Step 5: Top & Decorate

Pour the matcha chocolate over the pretzels, spreading it out evenly with a spatula to cover all the nooks and crannies.
Sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts and a pinch of flaky salt for the perfect finishing touch.

Step 6: Chill & Break

Place the bark in the fridge or freezer for about 30 minutes, or until completely set.
Once firm, break into pieces and serve!

Tips & Variations

🍫 Use dark or milk chocolate instead of white for a deeper flavor.
🍌 Add thin banana chips for extra fruitiness.
🌱 Try almond butter or tahini in place of peanut butter.
🧊 Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week (or freeze for longer-lasting snack stash).

Matcha Pretzel Date Bark is more than just a snack—it’s a crave-worthy, no-fuss treat that hits every flavor note with a satisfying crunch.
