Matcha Lava Cake

🌿 You’ll Need:
- 1 egg
- 35 g sugar
- 55 g white chocolate
- 50 g butter
- 6 g premium matcha powder @matchaunion
- 35 g flour
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
✨ Method:
1️⃣ Whisk the base
Whisk egg and sugar until well combined and slightly airy. Set aside.
2️⃣ Melt & mix
Gently melt white chocolate and butter together until smooth.
3️⃣ Add matcha
Stir in matcha powder until fully dissolved and beautifully green.
4️⃣ Combine
Pour the matcha mixture into the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
5️⃣ Fold in flour
Sift in flour and gently fold until just combined.
6️⃣ Prep the ramekin
Grease a small round ramekin with butter and lightly coat with flour.
7️⃣ Bake
Pour in the batter and bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 12 minutes.
8️⃣ Serve immediately
Invert onto a plate, dust with powdered sugar, and break it open while warm.
💚 Optional Extras:
- Add a white chocolate square in the center before baking for extra lava
- Serve with vanilla ice cream
- Dust with matcha instead of powdered sugar for a deeper green finish
