🌿 You’ll Need:
For the dough:
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 20 g powdered sugar
- 15 g black sesame seeds
- 30 g milk
- 30 g butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the coating:
- ~70 g white chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp premium matcha powder @matchaunion
✨ Method:
1️⃣ Make the dough
In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, black sesame seeds, milk, butter, and vanilla.
2️⃣ Knead
Use your hands to knead until a smooth dough forms. Shape into a ball.
3️⃣ Roll & shape
Roll out into a rectangle and trim the edges neatly.
4️⃣ Chill
Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.
5️⃣ Cut into sticks
Remove and slice into even sticks.
6️⃣ Bake
Arrange on a lined baking tray and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes, until lightly golden.
7️⃣ Cool completely
Let the sticks cool before dipping.
8️⃣ Make matcha coating
Melt white chocolate with coconut oil, then stir in matcha powder until smooth.
9️⃣ Dip & set
Dip the ends of each stick into the matcha chocolate and let set completely.
