Ingredients
-
Fresh raspberries
-
100g white chocolate (for the first coating)
-
150g white chocolate (for the matcha coating)
-
1 tsp premium matcha powder
-
Banana chips (crushed, for topping – optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Arrange the Raspberries
Neatly arrange the fresh raspberries on a lined tray or in silicone molds. Make sure they’re evenly spaced for easy coating later.
Step 2: First Chocolate Coating
1️⃣ Gently melt 100g white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave (stirring every 20 seconds).
2️⃣ Pour the melted white chocolate over the arranged raspberries, covering them fully or just enough to create a base coat.
3️⃣ Place the tray in the freezer for about 10 minutes to let the first layer harden.
Step 3: Prepare the Matcha Chocolate
1️⃣ Melt 150g white chocolate in a clean bowl.
2️⃣ Sift and stir in 1 tsp premium matcha powder until completely smooth and well blended.
Step 4: Coat with Matcha Chocolate
1️⃣ Remove the raspberries from the freezer.
2️⃣ Pour the matcha white chocolate over the berries, fully coating them for that beautiful green finish.
Step 5: Add Banana Chip Pieces
Before the matcha chocolate sets, sprinkle crushed banana chips over the top for extra flavour and texture.
Step 6: Chill and Enjoy
Place the tray back into the freezer for at least 15-20 minutes until everything is fully set. Then pop them out and enjoy!
