Ingredients (makes ~10 cookies)
-
250–300g white chocolate
-
~10 Leibniz butter biscuits
Optional:
-
Extra white chocolate (for a base layer before adding matcha)
Instructions
1. Melt the Chocolate
Gently melt the white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
2. Mix in Matcha
Sift in the matcha powder and stir well until fully combined and vibrantly green.
Optional Step – Double Layer:
If you'd like a white chocolate base, dip or spread each biscuit with plain melted white chocolate first and let it set before adding the matcha layer on top.
3. Coat & Assemble
Spread or spoon the matcha white chocolate onto a parchment-lined tray in small rectangles (or in chocolate bar molds if you have them).
Press a Leibniz biscuit firmly on top of each one while the chocolate is still soft.
4. Let Set & Enjoy
Let the cookies set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes until firm.
Tips & Ideas
🍫 Add toppings before the chocolate sets—like crushed pistachios, sesame seeds, or edible gold dust for a luxe touch.
