🍌 You’ll Need:

For the Banana Bread Syrup:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg

For the Latte:

  • Ice cubes
  • Milk of choice (oat, almond, whole — your fave)
  • 1–2 tsp premium matcha powder @matchaunion
  • A splash of hot water (for whisking)
  • 2–3 tbsp banana bread syrup
  • Heavy cream (for the topping)

🍯 Method:

Make the Banana Bread Syrup:
1️⃣ Mash the ripe banana in a small pot.
2️⃣ Add brown sugar, vanilla, maple syrup, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3️⃣ Simmer on low heat for ~10 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Strain (optional, for smoothness), pour into a jar, and refrigerate.


Make the Latte:
1️⃣ Fill your glass with ice.
2️⃣ Add 2–3 tbsp banana bread syrup.
3️⃣ Pour in your milk of choice.
4️⃣ Whisk matcha powder with a splash of hot water until smooth and frothy. Pour over the milk.
5️⃣ For the cream topping: whip a splash of heavy cream with a spoonful of banana syrup until thick, then spoon it on top.


🌰 Optional Extras:

  • Sprinkle with cinnamon or crushed banana chips
  • Add a mini slice of banana bread on the rim
  • Make it dairy-free with coconut cream
