Collagen, named 'the fountain of youth', is the protein abundant in our skin that keeps it looking fresh and plump.
From the age of 20, the amount of collagen present starts to reduce by around 1% every year, causing our skin to lose its elasticity and volume. Basically, your skin ages. Since our bodies are unable to restore collagen naturally, it is a great idea to supplement it by adding it to your drinks or smoothies.
