A classic warm matcha latte

Among all the recipes we’ve made, this one still remains a favourite — simple, cozy, and so comforting. A calming daily ritual in a cup.


🌿 You’ll Need:

  • 2 g ceremonial matcha powder @matchaunion
  • 80 ml water (80°C / 175°F)
  • Frothed milk of choice (oat, almond, dairy — whatever you love)
  • A touch of sweetness (maple syrup, honey, or flavoured syrup)

Need a double shot? Use 4 g matcha + 140 ml water for that extra boost.


☁️ Method:

1️⃣ Whisk the matcha
Sift the matcha powder into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk until smooth and frothy.

2️⃣ Add your milk
Froth your milk and pour it over the matcha.

3️⃣ Sweeten to taste
Stir in your preferred sweetener. Sip slow, breathe deep.


💚 Optional Add-Ons:

  • Vanilla or lavender syrup for extra calm
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon or matcha dust on top
  • Enjoy with a side of matcha cookie or mochi
