Interview: Anastasiya Yershova

We caught Ukrainian fashion designer Anastasia Yershova over cups of Matcha in London after returning from a long summer spent in her hometown Kiev and the sunny island of Ibiza. She is the founder of Atelier Handmade which, as the name suggests, is a collection of handmade pieces made in her atelier in Kiev. From fine linen beachwear to trendy swim and evening wear, the line has something to make you feel confident at any occasion. Now back to work the pilates addicted beauty- that's where this body comes from! chats about life and wellness. 

MU: What are you passionate about?

AY: Pilates, my work (especially it’s creative part), good music and travelling.

MU: What’s the most fulfilling part about what you do?

AY: I love creating clothes for women that makes them feel even more beautiful and confident. I enjoy to see them happy when they first try it on and what is making me really fulfilled is when I see my clients still wearing clothes that I made many years ago.

MU: What title do you give this chapter in our life and why?

AY: “Transformation” -  For many years my priorities were personal growth and development and now since I found out who I really am I’m trying to become a better version of myself and do something good for people and for the planet.

MU: What does wellness mean to you?

AY: Self-care, balance, joy of the present moment.

MU: What is a wellness trend that you recently discovered and can’t live without? 

Intermittent fasting (16:8) - It gives me much more energy during the day.

MU: What or whom inspires you?

AY: New destinations! 

MU: How do you stay balanced?

Following my daily routine, maintaining a positive mental attitude, spending time with people I love, meditating.

MU: What are your top 3 wellness tips? 

AY:
1. Start your day with glass of water
2. Eat more fruits and veggies
3. Listen to happy music

MU: If you could be any superfood which one would you be and why?

AY: Buckwheat (a highly nutritions whole grain) - I just love it and I’ve been eating it since childhood.

MU: What’s your favourite MU product and how do you use it?

AY: The 15% CBD oil - it helps me to sleep better and I love that it has a very soft flavour, I simply put a few drops under my tongue before going to bed.
