MU: What are you passionate about?
MR: I am passionate about my family, food, fitness and helping others learn how to best nourish themselves to look and feel their best.
MU: What’s the most fulfilling part about what you do?
MR: When I watch a client start to gain the confidence and energy to tackle their life’s dreams while also stressing less about food. I also love when people tell me they love a recipe I shared, or they made it for their family!
MU: What title do you give this chapter in our life and why?
MR: Stop and Smell the Roses. Like many others, quarantine life has allowed me to slow down and be more present. I am loving spending more quality time with my 19 month old daughter and taking on less at work so that I can put 100% into everything that I do say “yes” to.
MU: What does wellness mean to you?
MR: Wellness is discovering the foods, way of moving your body, amount of sleep, and support system that allow you to feel your best. It is also learning which food, people and products are toxic to your happiness/well being.

MU: What is a wellness trend that you recently discovered and can’t live without?
MR: CBD! I use CBD almost every day to help me sleep or reduce stress.
MU: What or whom inspires you?
MR: I am currently out in the Hamptons and I feel so inspired every time I go to a farm stand. I love picking the local, seasonal produce and figuring out new ways to combine the amazing flavors of fruits and veggies.
MU: How do you stay balanced?
MR: Yoga and pilates. I really do not feel myself if I don’t get in some sort of movement each day. I feel like I can take on the world after I workout.
MU: What are your top 3 wellness tips?
MR:
1. Drink at least 3 liters of water per day
2. Move your body for at least 30 minutes a day in a way that brings you joy
3. Nurture your relationships
MU: If you could be any superfood which one would you be and why?
MR: Ashwagandha – this adaptogen helps us “adapt” better to stress. I like to believe that I give people the tools and resources to nourish themselves better and stress less.
